GB Cup 2026
The PAGB GB Cup for PDI images was judged on 21st March by Gordon Jenkins Hon PAGB, Dave Tucker EFIAP/p DPAGB BPE4 and Vin Scothern DPAGB EFIAP BPE5 PPSA.
As a club we entered both the GB Cup (Nature and Open) and the GB Trophy (Nature and Open). In these competitions we can enter up to 24 images in each category. They are then judged and scored by the three judges with a maximum score of 15. Only the top 12 scoring images from each category are counted towards your club position and the results were as follows.
We came 11th equal out of 46 clubs in the Open section with a score of 142. It was won by Southport with 159, second were Oldham with 154.
We came 8th equal in the Nature section out of 54 clubs. It was won by Chichester with 149, second was Cambridge with 146 and there were 5 clubs equal 3rd with 145 points. So it was close!
GB Trophy 2026
The PAGB GB Trophy for Prints was judged on 22nd March by the same three judges.
14 clubs entered the Open Section and we came 6th with 147 points. It was won by Smethwick with 162, second were Arden with 159.
Only 12 clubs entered the Nature and we came 3rd with 152. It was won by Bristol with 154 and Chichester were second with 153, very close again.
