Martin Avery Competition

This competition, dedicated to the award winning creative photographer Martin Avery, is held every year to celebrate creativity in photography. The host society this year was Oldham PS and the prints were judged by Robert Millin MFIAP FBPE EFIAP/d3 MPSA SPSA DPAGB LRPS.

Only six clubs were invited to enter this select competition, which was held on Thursday 27th March 2025. Each club had to submit ten prints and Poulton emerged the winners of this elite group.

3rd Oldham PS 175 points
4th Southport PS 171 points
5th The Evolve Group 170 points
6th South Liverpool PS 155 points
