Matt Roskell
It is with great sadness that we report that Matt Roskell died on 7th February, aged 86. Matt was one of our longest-standing members, joining the Society in 1969. He served as our Chairman on three separate occasions, being elected to the post from 1993 to 1995 and then again from 2006 to 2008. He also served as deputy for Peter Guy in 2003-04 whilst Peter was undergoing knee surgery. Matt was involved in every aspect of our club and was always first to volunteer his services whenever 'stuff needed doing'. He had a wicked sense of humour, which often came out in his photography. He was an expert gardener and would often turn up with bundles of vegetables to give out as presents or prizes. Matt leaves two sons, Philip and David. He will be sadly missed by everyone at PPS.
