The digital entries in the PAGB Cup were judged over the two days of 23rd and 25th of January, with considerable success for Poulton PS. 77 clubs entered the Nature Section and three tied for first place with 144 points each. These were Rolls Royce Derby PS, Smethwick PS and our own club. The scores were based on the twelve best scoring images from each club. When a count-back was made over 17 images, Rolls Royce Derby was given overall first place. In the Open Section, Poulton came sixteenth equal out of 87 clubs entering - a commendable result and an improvement on previous years. Three members won awards. They were Richard O'Meara for 'Redshanks Mating' (pictured) - Bronze Medal (Best Wader); Peter Knight for 'Art of the Foil' - Bronze Medal (Best Mono); and Phil Hodson for 'Barn Owl - Icy Dawn' - Commended.
