PPS were one of the clubs chosen to represent the L&CPU at the National Inter-club PDI Championshis this weekend. Only two clubs per Federationcan qualify in addition to the 8 finalists from the previous year, so just getting there is an achievement. After two rounds, just as in The Open golf tournament, PPS came one place short of making the cut into the 8 club final. All the remaining clubs were entered into a 'Plate' competition, which PPS won jointly with Oldham. In so doing, we have pre-qualified for next year's competition. We had four images scoring 14 points each, but only one top scorer of 15 which was Alan Story's "4 Spot Chaser Drying Wings". The competition was won by Wigan 10 and Rolls Royce Derby together. Chorley were 6th.
