Over the two days of this weekend the L&CPU Club Competitions were held at Chorley and Eccles. PPS did very well in both the PDI Competition on Saturday and the Print Competition on Sunday. We won the PDI Nature Section with 111 points, whilst Chorley PS were second with 109. When the Open Section was taken into account, Poulton with 306 points were second overall to Oldham PS, who had 310 points. Chorley PS came third with 305 points. The photo shows Alan Storey receiving the Nature Trophy from the President of the L&CPU. More success followed on Sunday. Again Poulton won the Nature Section of the Print Competition with 112 points, with Chorley second on 110 and Southport third with 107 points. Overall Chorley won the Print Competition with 325 points; Poulton and Southport were Joint Second with 308 points. Altogether, a very good weekend!
