The L&CPU Individual Competitions were judged over this weekend and two PPS members did very well. They are Richard O'Meara (pictured), who gained nine awards, and Peter Knight with four awards. Richard was the Runner-Up in the prestigious Photographer of the Year Competition, which he won two years ago. He was Third in the Best Digital Photographer of the Year, Second in the Best Print Photographer of the Year, Second in the Best Digital Nature Photographer of the Year, Second in the Best Nature Print Photographer of the Year, Second in the Best Mono Print Photographer of the Year, Bronze medal in the Digital Nature section with "Blackfoot Anemonefish", Commended in the Nature Print section with "Greenfinch and Chaffinch Dispute" and Second in the Colour Print section with "Hen Night". Peter Knight was also Second in the Best Nature Photographer of the Year, Commended in the Nature Digital section with both "Mantis" and "Peregrine Falcon in Snow" and Commended in the Nature Print section with "Goshawk in Snow".
