The L&CPU Individual Print and Digital Competitions were judged this weekend - a total of 2607 entries. Three of our members gained awards. Tom Richardson took the Gold Medal for his Mono Print 'Dockernut Gill' whilst Gill O'Meara was second overall in the Best Digital Nature Photographer of the Year Competition. But it was Richard O'Meara who achieved the star performance in multiple categories. He took the Gold Medal for his Nature Print 'Juvenile Woodpecker attacking Starling', the Bronze Medal for Open Digital with 'Pelican Crossing', was equal First in the Print Nature Photographer of the Year, Second in the Digital Open Photographer of the Year, equal Second in the Mono Print Photographer of the Year, Second in the Best Digital Photographer of the Year, First in the Best Print Photographer of the Year and joint Winner of the overall Photographer of the Year award.
