The L&CPU Knockout was held on the 15th November in Chorley and was judged by Rod Wheelans. 34 clubs competed and we came 3rd equal with Alsager with 14 points. Southport was second and Daisy Nook was first after a tie breaker, as both clubs had scored 16 points. All clubs had 5 images each and out of the 170 images only 69 survived the first round. The judge went through the selection 6 times culling images each time until there were only a handful left and then chose a winning image. Gill O’Meara’s image of ‘Grappling Greenfinch’ (pictured) was our top scorer, being knocked out in the 5th round thereby scoring 5.
