This year saw a bumper entry to the Residents' Competition - 170 images from 44 photographers. Well done to all the entrants for the high quality of their entries, and to our Publicity Officer Peter Knight for organising the competition. The winning photograph was 'Brown Hare' (pictured) by David Bannister, whose 'Common Whitethroat' came second. 'Colosseum by Night' by Jake Smith was third. David wins a year's free membership of the Society. Our Chairman, Alan Cameron, introduced a new category whilst judging the competition: Best Sequence of Photos was won by Marcin Jamorski.
